PROS:

  1. High speed (512 KbPS download) when no ADSL or Cable is available.

  2. "On all the time" connection.

  3. Does not use a phone line so your phone is available
    all the time.

  4. You can route the internet to all the computers in the house.

CONS:

  1. Your neighbour with the putt-putt dial up connection
    will hate you.

CAN YOU GET IT?

   Availability is evaluated on a site by site basis.
   Your location must be able to "see" an available broadcasting
    tower. Towers are located in several areas in and around New
   Tecumseth. A site survey (no charge) can be done at your
    location to check availability.

COSTS:

  • Monthly rates start at $49.95 (residential)

  • Installation is $295.00

  • A broadband router is required. Routers costs range from about $60.00 to $150.00 depending on your requirements.
